Feeling stuck in a thought pattern that is no longer serving you? Ready to let it go and shift into your highest potential that is just waiting for you to realize it?

If you understand thoughts create our experience of the world around us (via our inner world), and it is all within you to create the life you desire, then keep reading.

Just the other day I was listening to a short video narrated by Louise Hay (modern day self-help speaker, healer and founder of Hay House Publishing). She was speaking on the simple observable fact that what we put out into the world is what we get back. What we experience in our life is based on our inner thoughts and perspective we learned mainly from early childhood, whether this was internalized thought patterns (based on misunderstanding) or projections from others. (Key note: We cannot blame others for projecting patterns when we understand that everyone is just doing the best they can with what they know at their level of consciousness. When we know better, we do better.)

During her talk, she delivered a one-liner that was so simple & eloquent.

The phrase she stated in response to an identified unhelpful thought pattern was, “I am willing to release the pattern in me that created this condition (or experience).”

This empowering statement moves you out of the victim role (assigning control to something/someone outside of you) and takes responsibility for how you feel, what you experience and the way in which you move through life. The best part? If I am responsible for how I move through life, then I can change any of it. Dig in and ask yourself if what you are creating in your life is simply by default or are you actively involved in living a creative life?

 

 

 

 

How-To

When you find yourself pausing and reflecting on a thought, an experience or how your life is going, and you are recognizing a thought pattern that is not serving you, simply take a few moments and repeat several times to yourself:

“I am willing to release the pattern within me that created this condition or experience.”

Take it up a level and add another sentence with strong intention and from a place of gratitude and faith:

(With hands on your heart)
“I trust the process of life to take care of me in all I think, say and do. Thank you.”

 

 

 

 

In Closing

You may be wondering, can it really be this easy?

Yes, it can if you allow it to be. We think things need to be complicated to be helpful or to support growth, in fact quite the opposite is true. Simple is more effective, easily integrated and repeatable. Balance is the way.

Tip: Sit in a comfortable position. Relax your brain wave state into alpha or theta and repeat this phrase(s) several times. When we do the inner work from a relaxed brain wave frequency, what we infuse into our thoughts and mind is much more powerful than doing so in our usual state of beta (where most operate for much of the waking day).
